Hello.

My name is Magnus.
I freelance in the
infosec industry
, teach chinese
martial arts
,
and study
software engineering
.
I freelance as an
information security consultant
for small and medium size companies. I specialize in offsite penetration testing, which involves hacking computer networks and delivering recommendation reports for mitigating security threats.
A recommendation report shows the crucial cold facts which are imperative, when estimating the actual need for investment in cyber security upgrades. Performed regularly, penetration tests are one of the most cost-efficient ways of handling security breaches - by preventing them from happening.
I started practicing
martial arts
in 1997, and have since competed in multiple tournaments.
My latest result is from the European Championships in Sweden 2008, where I won a silver medal.
I study
software engineering
at Aalborg University, which I enjoy very much.
Aalborg University is known for the extensive use of problem based learning and teamwork.
Our projects span over a broad diverse field of software; including web applications,
mobile software, compiler technology and malware counter measures.
